Perthshire North MSP, Mr John Swinney has celebrated news that three organisations within Perthshire North have been successful in their applications to the National Lottery’s ‘Awards for All’ programme.
‘Awards for All’ is the National Lottery’s small grants scheme which makes grants of between £500 and £10,000 to make a big difference in communities. In this latest round three Perthshire North organisations have secured a total of £27,298.
Commenting on the news Mr Swinney said:
“Yet again Perthshire North organisations have been proactive in engaging with the Lottery’s ‘Awards for All’ scheme and their investment in time and effort has paid off.
“The Longforgan Primary School Parent Forum has received £7786 which will be used to redevelop their playground.
“Atholl & Breadalbane Agricultural Society have received £10,000 to fund replacement of their wooden animal gates & pens with steel ones to improve public safety.
“Wild Sparks Outdoor Play CIC has received £9512 which will enable them to provide play opportunities for all children including young people with additional support needs”
The MSP concluded:
