Swinney backs #MakeSomeonesDay campaign

Perthshire North MSP, Mr John Swinney, has urged people across to Perthshire to join the #MakeSomeonesDay campaign this St Andrew’s Day.
 
#MakeSomeonesDay is a Scottish Government backed social media campaign to highlight the everyday acts of kindness across Scotland. By posting their good deeds to social media using the relevant hashtag, members of the public can ensure that this St Andrew’s Day will highlight the selfless nature of our country.

“I wholeheartedly back the #MakeSomeonesDay campaign, and would urge all my constituents across Perthshire to take part in this worthwhile effort.

“Whether it’s donating time, money or even just a kind word, it is easy to show others that you care. As we celebrate St Andrew’s Day, it is right that we re-affirm our bonds to each other and prove just how powerful a force compassion and kindness can be.”
