Perthshire North MSP, Mr John Swinney, has welcomed news that a COVID testing centre is to visit McDiarmid Park.

The centre, which will operate from Monday 2nd-Sunday 8th November and Monday 16th-Sunday 22nd November between the hours of 10am and 5pm, will offer pre-booked and ad hoc testing to the local public.

Commenting, Mr Swinney said:

“The news of this mobile test centre will be welcomed by Perthshire residents, and will ensure that testing continues to be readily and conveniently available.

“Whilst the centre is able to offer tests on an ad-hoc basis, I would encourage people to pre-book a test in order to ensure the service operates as smoothly as possible.

“As ever, the option to have a test delivered directly to your home remains available. The completed test will then be picked up the following day by a courier, with the aim of having results sent directly to you within 48 hours.”
